Frith Silhouette of a Gentleman, British, 1846

Cut and paste full length silhouette of a gentleman in a top hat with his umbrella on a cream board with mark "abridged drawing board" in lower right corner, signed and dated "Frith / 1846." The silhouette was most likely done by one of John Frith's sons, F. or Henry Albert, who worked in his shop with him. Matted and housed under glass in a hand-crafted contemporary nicely painted frame.

Small tear to paper margin and some soiling; has been examined out of frame.
