The only known woman silversmith working in Delaware, she worked as a silversmith in her brother's Wilmington shop on Market Street from 1840 until 1860; these two salt spoons both bear an incised mark likely indicating that they were made by her hands prior to 1850 when she began retailing more silver articles and other manufactured goods. Both are also engraved "D" on the handles.
