The side painted with a patriotic eagle motif and lettered, "Presented to Freddy Pratt, by C. K. Wilcot Post 16 G. A. R. / Springfield Mass. April 1875." A fitted glass top and wooden legs allows this drum to serve as a display table. With drum sticks. A Private Frederick Pratt served three years in Co. G, 18th Massachusetts Volunteers and was active in the Grand Army of the Republic until his death in 1908.
