Circa 1800, the rectangular plate with a view towards a harbor with watchtower and buildings on small jetty, a pair of pigeons and a pair of ducks are depicted in the foreground, the scene framed on the right by bamboo and chrysanthemums. Likely originally one of a pair. Presented in a later frame with T. Hare & Son of Stamford label.

Some expected degradation to silvering on mirror.
