Late 19th century, the first is a (2) gallon size, so marked, and with cobalt tulip to the front, applied lug handles (10.5 in.); the second is (4) gallon size so marked with similar decoration, lidded (HOA 16 in.) (hairline to rim; branching hairline at base, several rim chips; lid with small tight hairline).
