Circa 1830, mid Atlantic region, tiger maple, birds eye maple and mahogany, secondary woods are poplar and white pine, two part form, upper bookcase with flared projecting cornice above two mullioned glazed doors above three side by side drawers, the lower case with a pull out fall front butler's desk featuring a divided interior and central prospect door, above three cock beaded long drawers with solid birds eye maple drawer fronts having a secret lower skirt drawer, flanked by fully turned Corinthian columns, paneled sides raised on bold hairy paw front feet and rear turned feet.
