Meiji period (1868-1912), covered incense holder signed on the underside "Seizan" and meticulously decorated with small details and with a bow tie decoration on top (H: 5 in., good condition with some minor wear from use leaving some darkening spots on holes throughout incense holder, especially on lower side), small vase with signature at base that is now illegible from loss, decorated with sages in bamboo grove and on the reverse women admiring cherry blossoms (H: 4 in., good to fair condition with loss to gilding on rim and on the body; hairline crack to interior or neck.)
