Late Edo period, ink and colors on paper, first print is by Utagawa Kunisada II (Japan, 1823-1880) from the series Lady Murasaki's Genji Cards (Murasaki Shikibu Genji karuta), 1857, framed under glass (DOA: 17.5 x 13.75 in., SS: 12.75 x 9 in., Very good condition, one small area of loss at bottom and some fading of color, not examined outside of frame), the second print is by an unknown artist but with Utagawa style, titled at the top right hand corner Hana kuruwa zensei soroi, 1860, framed under glass (DOA: 20 x 14.5 in., SS: 14 x 9.5 in., Very good condition with a few losses at the bottom edge, creasing in places, minor fading to color, not examined out of the frame.)
