The first: after Joseph Wolf by J. G. Keulemans (19th Century), "Thaumalea Amherstiae (Lady Amherst's Pheasant)" from Daniel Giraud Elliot's Monograph of the Phasianidae, or, Family of the Pheasants, 19th century, illustration heightened with gum arabic, retains accompanying text to backing, matted and presented in gilt frame (SS 17 x 22 3/4 in.; DOA 26 5/8 x 31 7/8 in.); the second: J. Gould & H. C. Richter (19th century), "Phasianus Shawi (Shaw's Pheasant)" from Gould's The Birds of Asia, possibly a later printing, matted and framed (SS 13 1/4 x 20 3/4 in.; DOA 19 3/4 x 27 1/4 in.).

Creases to lower margin of the first; some light spotting.
