Signed "Morning, Toko Shinoda, 28/14" in pencil beneath the image, abstract rendering in black ink and green pigment, Shinoda has been famous for her abstract compositions both in Japan and abroad since the mid 20th century, a well-known artist who is still working to this day.

By descent from family while stationed in Okinawa during the 70s and purchased directly from the artist.
