The first with Hester Bateman sponsor's mark, London (1782) hallmarks, oval form with neoclassical cut work and engraving, raised on four ball and claw feet, with cobalt glass liner (1.55 troy oz., 2 x 3 1/8 x 2.5 in, with period RFW monogram); a pair with rubbed sponsor's and hallmarks, 18th century, raised on hoof feet (2.75 total troy oz., 1.25 x 2.5 in., with replaced cobalt glass liners); and a pair with WS sponsor's mark, London (1788) hallmarks, period AB bright cut engraved monogram, oval form, raised on ball and claw feet, with cobalt glass liners (2.65 troy oz., 2 x 3.25 x 2 3/8 in., both with old solder repairs).
