Circa 1907-1947 hallmarks, (14) piece set presented in the original fitted travel case and including: hand mirror (8.5 in.), talc powder bottle, (2) dresser bottles, toothbrush holder, soap container, cold cream container, make-up container, shoe horn, button hook, nail file, nail scissors, clothes brush, hairbrush, and comb. Each with period engraved monogram "VMM." All vessels with the exception of toothbrush holder are parcel gilt.

From the Estate of Mrs. Violet Morrison Brokaw, Long Island, NY Violet Morrison was born in New York to Irish immigrant parents. She met her future husband, the wealthy clothier Clifford Brokaw, while serving as a nurse in a hospital where he was a patient. The couple were married in San Francisco on February 2, 1929.

This set was gifted to Miss Morrison by her fiance, Clifford V. Brokaw, just prior to their wedding on February 2, 1929.
