The first: J. W. M. Turner (British, 1775-1851), "Entrance of Calais Harbour" from Etchings and Engravings for the 'Liber Studiorum', etching with mezzotint, 1816, retains gallery label to backing, matted and presented in gilt frame (SS 8 1/4 x 12 in.; DOA 15 x 18 3/4 in.); the second: Cornelis Ploos van Amstel (Dutch, 1726-1798), Sailing Vessels of the Dutch Coast, soft ground aquatint, matted and presented in wooden frame (Sheet Size 3 3/4 x 7 3/8 in.; DOA 10 x 13 1/4 in.).
