The portrait, circa 1890, being a chromolithograph on textured board, presented in an oval frame (DOA 23 x 20 in.) (some light spotting to forehead, else very good); the document reproduced being Lee's famous "General Order No. 9," the April 10, 1865 farewell address to the Army of Northern Virginia. (quarto, spot glued to framed mount (DOA 18.5 x 13.75 in.) (as made, fine condition, no glass in frame).
