Mid 20th century, black lacquer with applied gold and silver metallic leaf and cream with red highlights, the front features a court scene with figures engaged in activity among pavilions and gardens all presided over by a matron sitting in the largest pavilion, many fine details throughout the scene, all contained within a dragon border, below each panel are archaic bronzes, on the back side of the screen are cranes set in a lush landscape of pine, plum blossoms, bamboo, and poppies, stands on raised capped feet.
