Dated Meiji 37 (1904) March, title Sea Battle, publisher is Kimura Toyokichi, a rare six oban sheet print by Koto depicting the Russian and Japanese sea battle at Port Arthur in a dazzling style with beams of light and explosions amid crashing waves of the turbulent sea with white specks of snow falling over the entire scene, presented loose with full margins.

Each print: 15 x 9 7/8 in.

Very good condition; edges on some of the sheets have some very slight creasing and wear.
