Late 19th or early 20th century, porcelain with scalloped rim decorated in iron red, cobalt blue, and green, both plates have a center design in cobalt blue of the "Three Friends" plum, pine, and bamboo, one plate has the unique feature of rabbits, symbolic of autumn.

From the Estate of Mrs. Camilla Hammond Smith Strange of Annandale Farm, Gordonsville, VA and Warrenton, VA Born in Washington, D.C., Mrs. Strange was a proud member of the Society of the Lees of Virginia. Like her mother and grandmother, she had a great knowledge and appreciation of antiques and enjoyed decorating with them throughout her home.
