Meiji period (1868-1912), signed on underside "Teikoku Dainichi Maru Kutani" with artist's name, stunning Yokohama style Imperial era kutani with vivid motif pattern borders on top and bottom with raised gilt beads and a center design of birds flying amidst snow covered bamboo and scenes of men in winter landscape, fitted in European mountings cleanly preserving the integrity of the vases except for singular hole drilled in bottom side, with silk lamp shades.
