Four Images of Kentucky Unionist Captain Daniel T. Buckner
Lot Details & Additional Photographs
Of Co. "A," 20th Kentucky Infantry. Included are three cdvs of Buckner as a lieutenant, variously with marks for Percivals, NY, Webster & Brothers, Louisville, and Smith & Wybrant, n.p. Rounding out the group is a very dark gem tintype in a CDV mount having a Stansbury & Co., Louisville, KY backmark.

Buckner, probably a relation to Confederate Lieutenant General Simon Bolivar Buckner, enlisted as a sergeant on October 2, 1861 and mustered out on January 17, 1865. His regiment, the 20th Kentucky spent its war in the Western theater fighting from Shiloh through the Atlanta campaign.

One CDV with edge losses to the print; group is overall very good.
