Qing dynasty (1644-1911), probably 18th century, elegant jar with green with black spotted background covered by butterflies flying amidst flowers, six white medallions over the body decorated with either landscapes, flowers, or elements from the Chinese 100 antique motifs of scholarly items, lid is top with a large ball finial with a purple and yellow flower decorating it.
