19th century, decorated with a Chinese sage riding on a foo lion with horse's body in high relief, surrounded by swirling clouds against a red lacquer background, wooden register below has carved flowers in high relief and the register below flush with the table has Buddhist motifs carved in high relief.

Fair condition with repaired break down the center; chipping and loss to the wood surfaces; loss of majority of gilding that may have originally decorated the central image.
