A Meriden Silverplate Nut Bowl with Spoon

Late 19th century, matte finish to acorn form bowl, raised on three branch form feet, a charming squirrel perched on the branch form handle with oak leaf mount, marked to foot, pattern number 4 (9 3/8 in.); with an unmarked serving spoon with period script monogram to bowl PA, and squirrel scampering up the grapevine handle (9 1/8 in.).
