20th century, Ming style chairs with sweeping crest rail terminating in out swept hooks above shaped spandrels, all above the curved splat carved with an arabesque medallion, gracefully curved standing stiles, and the rear posts, flat seat with rectangular frame above shaped, beaded aprons and spandrels carved in the front, shaped aprons and spandrels on the sides and rear, the legs joined by stepped stretchers.

40 x 24 x 19.5 in.

Surface wear from use; tight hairline crack on the back leg of one chair; the other with a tight shrinkage crack to the back skirt; later finish on both.
