The stuffing spoon well marked and with London (1782) hallmarks, bright cut engraving, no monogram (12.25 in., 3.6 troy oz.); the sugar sifter with short handle and delicate detailed cut work to bowl, obliterated marks (4.5 in., 1.15 troy oz.). No monograms or crest to either piece.

From the Estate of the late Dr. Alison Mary Turner, Wake Forest, NC Much of the silver in Dr. Turner's collection was inherited from her parents, Royal Navy Captain and Mrs. John Schomberg Hammill and great-grandparents, Admiral Sir Montague Edward Browning and Lady Ruth Boldero Browning.
