Qing dyansty, 19th century, a very fine pair of hexagonal tea caddies with dimpled edges, the body tapers from the rim towards the base, each of the sides has a gilt and incised decoration of birds including peacocks amidst flora, the fitted covers have a continuous band of decoration around the sides and are surmounted by green glass knobs, come together with fitted wood stands.
