Japanese Kutani Covered Dish and Bowl

20th century, includes a covered dish painted with two geisha one holding a drum and one a fan with a lake landscape in the background highlighted with pink cherry blossom trees, two handles to dish, a handle to the center of the cover, cover is fitted inside lip of dish, and a smaller bowl with three shaped medallions filled with traditional scenes of birds and flowers, lakeside landscape, and two gentlemen scholars practicing calligraphy.

Good estate condition; very minor chips to underside edge of rim of dish cover and dish edge.
