Early 20th century, two finely rendered paintings of half length views of Chinese ladies dressed in robes with jade and pearl buttons, flowers adorn their upswept hairstyles, both wear jade bracelets, one leans against a rail with a fan in her hand showing her long nails, the other is depicted reading also with long nails present, framed in wooden frames with decorative Chinese metal hangers.

DOA: 26 x 19 in.
