The first: George Edwards (British, 1694-1773), "Purple-Breasted Blue Manakin" from A Natural History of Uncommon Birds and Animals, hand-colored engraving on laid paper, 1756; the second: after John James Audubon (American, 1785-1851), "Double-Crested Cormorant" from the Lockwood Edition of Birds of North America, hand-colored lithograph, circa 1870; both retain original paperwork and are matted and framed.

DOA 20 x 15 in. (one slightly smaller)

Some faint foxing to the second.
