64mm, 4.165 troy oz., stamped on edge by manufacturer Whitehead & Hoag, signed by sculptor Emil Fuchs, issued by the American Numismatic Society and the Hudson-Fulton Celebration Commission. This medal marks the 300th anniversary of Henry Hudson's discovery of the river that bears his name and the centennial of Robert Fulton's first commercial steamboat run on the Hudson River.
