An Early Woodblock Print by Mayumi Oda (Japanese, b. 1941)

Late 20th century, ink and colors on paper, an early print edition of two sea goddesses under the moon, similar to later diptych print "Merciful Sea," but this earlier print has a different orientation of the women's bodies and the waves as well as facial details, confirmed an original print, framed under glass, not examined outside of glass.
