1925, woodblock print, ink and colors on paper, signed on lower left hand side "Hasui" with red "Sui" seal, this print is one of Hasui's most famous designs, it features the vivid red gate at the Zojo Temple with a single elegantly dressed lady walking with heavy snow falling down, she is sheltered with her paper umbrella, the contrast of the hard lines and bright red of the temple gate are balanced by the soft pillows of snow on the pine tree branches, this print is presented loose.
