Signed on underside "kutani sei," porcelain highly decorated in kutani colors of iron red, black, and gilt with large registers on either side with birds and flowers and on reverse Daoist Immortals, raised on three lion feet, neck is flanked with two gilded foo lions and the fitted cover is surmounted by another foo lion with ball.
