Edo period (1615-1868), colors and ink on paper, first is by Utagawa Kunisada, oban size paper, depicting ladies having a snowball fight in a snow-covered Japanese garden with blue pond and a dark indigo blue sky, secured in a few places to a cardboard backing, and a smaller surimono style print of two courtesans, a poem is written above them, signature of artist to lower right hand side, this print is presented loose.

Tear and loss to lower right hand corner of larger print; also pin holes along left hand side of print; some small holes and losses over the print; stains spots to the print; smaller print has toning of paper and stain or water marks to upper right hand side.
