This purse, bearing the likeness of Clark Gable, is one of four of the "Stars" collection issued in 1976 to commemorate the company's centennial. Composed of metallic mesh in predominately blue, brown, beige colors, suspended from a gold tone frame (stamped Whiting & Davis), kiss clasp, and braided mesh chain, silk interior sewn with Whiting & Davis tag.
