20th century, pigments on cloth, dozens of Buddhist figures and followers are depicted on land, in architecture, and in the sky above, the two main deities featured are the Buddha Shakyamuni in the lower half of the composition seated on a lotus throne with an aureole filled with mythical figures and beasts, below are Buddhist symbols and monks with beggar bowls as well as attendants, along the sides are pavilions with teachers and deities, in the top half of the composition is the Buddha Amitayus with Buddhist deities, lamas, and teachers floating above on clouds, presented with dark purple and orange Chinese silk mounting with gold thread embroidered longevity symbols, no rollers.

DOA 47.5 x 26.5 in., SS 30 x 21.75 in.

Minor loss of pigments; some dirt to surface; spots of discoloration; silk mounting has some minor wear and four small holes.
