20th century, hanging scroll format, ink and colors on paper, features a group of gray and black tigers with pink mouths and noses, white whiskers and eyelashes, all with mouths open baring their teeth, on an undefined landscape, very unusual painting since tigers are usually depicted single or in a pair, but rarely do you find an Asian painting with a large group of tigers together.

SS 69.5 x 38, DOA 87 x 41 in.

Purchased in Korea.

Some spots of discoloration; some horizontal creases; some light toning to paper; mount is torn in places at top above the painting.
