A carved marble sculpture with details of tight curls and protruding knot of wisdom, eyes are downcast in meditation, long princely earlobes, cheeks are full and mouth and lips are sunken into face, rough underside, possibly removed from a larger sculpture; a soapstone seated sculpture of Guanyin in flowing robes, hair upswept with jewels, a necklace with lotus blossom.

Ears have chips and loss to the bottoms; small loss to end of nose; wear and rubbing to surface; some black and red marks; on Guanyin her hand has been broken off; some spots of discoloration and dirt; scratches to surface.
