Ganesha is depicted reclining slightly towards a circular pillow, his legs both bent towards the left, he has six arms holding his traditional attributes such as a sugar bowl, an ax, and a scribe, his is reclining over a double lotus bloom throne that is over an edged base with incised designs and two finials on the end of animals, a halo rises behind him, the base underside is lined fully with black felt, Ganesha is the son of the Hindu gods Shiva and Pavarti and is popular with many for being a god that brings good luck and fortune.
