The first is gilded, London (1815) hallmarks, no sponsor's mark, rectangular form opens to reveal a cutwork cover with leaping stag in a forest (1.5 x 1 1/8 in., 1.5 troy oz.); the second with London (1840) hallmarks and mark of Francis Clark, rectangular form with ornate hand-engraved and cutwork decoration, parcel gilt, period script monogram to cover "HEK" (1.5 x 7/8 in., .4 troy oz.).

Good estate condition - the larger box does not close tightly.
