The first: Albrecht Dürer (German, 1471-1528), Madonna by the Wall, engraving, original circa 1514, and this appears to be an early impression; the second: after Rembrandt van Rijn (Dutch, 1606-1669), The Bathers, on laid paper, possibly a reprint after the 1651 original; both matted and framed.

Sheet Size 5 7/8 x 4 in., DOA 11 7/8 x 10 in. (the first); Platemark 4 3/8 x 5 3/8 in., DOA 8 1/8 x 9 1/8 in. (the second)

The first: laid down to support sheet due to substantial loss; correction applied to support sheet to conceal loss; some light yellowing and stains. The second: plate slip during printing; several small stains.
