London, late 18th century, two-part form, the upper cabinet featuring an upper pierced applied gallery with finials and central putti painted panel, above a frieze with painted swag, putto, and dolphin, central fall front writing lid with a single shelved louvered interior, flanked by two cabinet doors, with oval medallions painted in the style of Angelica Kaufmann, the musical instrument case with 68 black and white keys, with ebonized oval maker's label, left compartment bearing a George F. Dean 34 Davies Street London label and Promusica Instrument Co. rebuilder 1967 label, above three lower side-by-side drawers, the whole raised on painted fluted and tapered legs, on casters.

Refurbished in 1967 per plaque; some keys currently misaligned but produce sound, it will need a proper musical tune-up and repairs; fall front writing lid with interior breaks and cracks; missing left brass hinge attachment; re-gilding; several veneer chips and losses; rear legs need re-supported at joint, not currently firm; other expected imperfections.
