A Private Collection of Contemporary American Art

Often cited as the founder of the studio glass movement, two works by Harvey Littleton were the first examples of modern glasswork acquired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY. After a long and successful tenure on the faculty of the University of Wisconsin, Littleton settled in Spruce Pine, NC.

White stand is detachable from the mahogany stand; however, the glass is adhered to the white stand; the larger glass sculpture has a small 1/4 inch scratch to the top.
