Includes a Chinese Export Quatrefoil shaped raised dish with turquoise enamel ground and decorated with peaches and circles on the exterior sides, and a Japanese porcelain dish with impressed Yamatoku (Mountain virtue) mark to reverse, decorated in Meiji period Arita ware with two ladies on an exterior courtyard standing by a large screen painted with a large fanciful phoenix.

From the Collection of Charlotte Rodman, Southern Pines, NC Charlotte is a NC native with a lifelong interest in art. She grew up in eastern NC, went to school in Raleigh and later owned a gallery in Pinehurst. She has lived in the Sandhills area for the last 30 years and gained recognition for both her work and her service in the arts community.
