Qing dynasty (1644-1911), 19th century or earlier, ink and colors on pith paper, each painting features a man engaged in an activity, two with tasks of manual labor and two at leisure playing go and interacting with a monkey, the compositions are outlined with light blue ribbon and beautifully framed under glass, not examined outside of the glass.
