Mid-20th century, both handmade of wood and canvas, presented behind glass in custom wooden cases; the schooner's post rail is marked "Canadienne" with tiny impressions whereas the case has an exterior I.D. brass plate reading "Coastal Whaler CHASE Sag Harbor N.Y." and an interior plate reading "Chase / Built in 1806 at Greenport, N.Y. for Coastal Whaling. One of several Coastal Whalers morred (sic) at Sag Harbor N.Y. Length 132 Beam 32 Draft 16."; the yacht's exterior I.D. plate reads "Chesapeake Ocean City MD while its interior plate reads "Chesapeake Alden designed and built at New Bedford Mass. in 1929 for Philip J. Roosevelt 64' L.O.A. 15' Beam 10' Draft John F. Kennedy and his wife often sailed her out of Annapolis MD."
