A Matched Pair of Chinese Framed Fan Face Paintings

Qing dynasty (1644-1911), both are watercolor and ink on paper, includes one with delicately painted flowers, a colophon and signature on the left side of the fan with two red seals, and the second with rocks, flowers, and a pair of birds executed in loose brushwork, colophon and signature to the left side of the fan with one red seal, both fans framed identically, one under glass and one without glass, set in finely carved wooden stands, not examined outside of frame.
