English, circa 1800, mahogany, engraved brass face with ship and moon dial, Roman and Arabic numerals, brass engraved with terrestrial globes, second hand, engraved with bird on branch and engraved with maker's name, four bell and eight bell mechanism, elaborate hood with elongated pierced broken arch pediment, veneered frieze with applied drop finials, hood door with fret carving at corners and oval glass, fluted columns with brass Corinthian capitals; the waist with arched and molded hinged door, fluted quarter columns, paneled base on bracket feet, with three weights, one pendulum, one clock key, one waist key.
