American, circa 1900, a carved horse head complete with harness, glass eyes, moves ears and lower jaw when the lever beneath the chin is depressed, collar with hallmark which is marked "Sterling, R.F. S. Co." for Robert Fitz Simmons of Attleboro, MA., sectioned horn shaft joined by silver solder.
