The 20th century mahogany stand has the capacity to hold (30) canes, included are the following canes: an ebony elephant head with glass eyes, ebony shaft, horn ferrule (36 in.); a contemporary Chinese lacquered cane with dragon form Tau handle, the shaft unscrews to three parts (37 in.); a spiral turned wood cane decorated with engraved and tinted flowers and birds, Southeast Asia (34.5 in.); a one-time gun cane, having a brass dog head knob, gun dissembled (repair to collar).
