20th century, ink on paper, calligraphy in the upper half of the painting with two red seals, the rest of the painting is dominated by arching and draping lush leaves of a banana tree, the brushstrokes of the grasses at the base of the tree are full of energy while the brushstrokes of the banana leaves are solid and show the weight of the leaves beautifully, mounted as a hanging scroll, with bone roller caps.
